A piece created for Issue 17 of Digital Artist Magazine, coming to a Borders/Barnes & Noble near you sometime next month!
I finished this a couple days after FC2011 when I was sick and sicker, so I am sad that it's a bit more rushed and wobbly than I would like, but BOY! Did I have a blast with this assignment! The article is about painting in monochrome, specifically, Cobalt Blue. The CD included with this month's magazine has the full size line art for this painting.
