This is an illustration for Erin Hoffman's short story in the upcoming issue of Reynard's menagerie. If you are able to pick up a copy, you should! Its a fun read. [link]

Special guest appearances by =Nambroth's Bronze Wing Pionus Khu and Cockatiel Feathers (may she beep in peace) and Erin's own Eclectus, Smeagol.
This was fun, even if I was a little tired of drawing Psittacines by the end of it. I wish I had time to add more birds but this piece is due. I did my best to get the relative sizes correct, but it was mainly guesswork with some tips from Nam.

This is really excellent! I call my parrots my little dragons. Your capture of the eclectus and pionus are the best. You really did wonderfully with all the birds and sizes. But the eclectus and pionus are two birds you do not see drawn often and you really got their personality and all. I am very impressed.
