Katze Okami Style

A gift drawing for my friend Katze, owner of both the WAH! badge and the Disanti badge, as well as numerous other pieces of art from myself and many others. I feel so grateful for the generous patrons of art, especially in the furry market where many awesome artists undercharge for their work just to get some much needed business.

This guy was based on his calico character, Katze Drache, a mean tempered cat who carries around a baseball bat. The cat also has a connection with dragons, um, somehow. XD I drew the cat mostly from life, using :devgiffgiff:'s cat Puffin for the model. The dynamic outstratched paw...not so present in the ball of fur that is Puffin at rest.

Then, the AWESOME ART OF OKAMI BOOK came into play, I used it for idea on how to inegrate the character's icons into the style of the game. Um...and inking is fun. Then...marker. Um, I still want to polish this up with some more color, maybe.

I hate perspective, even in it's most simple form.

Who got tired of reading all this shtuff? Blah blah blah. Okami okami okami.
